In the City Port, everything was either going out or coming in. From the gigantic Brigs with their sails that touch the sky, to the tiniest Fisher boat bringing in new creatures, everything and anything was there. But, something unexpected arrived at the Port. A young Anthron from the Study.

The Mouse was young, maybe thirteen or fourteen, and he definitely showed it. His round cheeks and wide eyes gave away his youth. His blonde locks of hair, pulled into a ponytail on the back of his head, and his light blue eyes, protected by wide, horn rimmed glasses, gave him an innocent look. Nothing there that wasn't true.

The young Mouse stepped off the gangland and onto the dock with a curious twinkle in his eyes. Totally ignorant to anything but the sun and the people, the scents of fresh pastries and the sea salt. The breeze that knocked a few loose strands of golden hair onto his nose was the only thing to break him from his trance. He sneezed and came back to his senses, then walked down the dock.

His proud, full of purpose walk and his bright pink waistcoat and salmon shirt made him stand out from the rest of the mammals that walked around on the docks. Several gave him odd looks, while a few Canine Beasthunters gave him catcalls and wolf whistles from a fruit stand.

The Mouse reached the end of the dock and met with the Harbourmaster.

"Excuse me, sir?" The Mouse asked. "But I would. . ."

The Mouse ended with a sudden squeak of fear and surprise at finally looking at the Anthron behind the counter.

The bright red Lizard looked up and put his news pamphlet off to the side. He then proceeded to grab a logbook, and dip a stylus into a small jar of ink.

"Truly sorry sir, I did not see you at first." The Reptile apologized. "I will need your name please."

"J-Jonathan En-Engel."

"Ah, yes." The lizard said, scribble the information into the logbook. "I received a message informing me of your arrival. Your private room is the top floor of that Inn across the street."

The Reptile pointed to a brick building about thirty metres away. It had a few Anthrons standing in front of it, but otherwise looked dead.

Jonathan nodded quickly to the Harbourmaster and walked away as fast as possible while still looking composed. When he came up the stairs leading from the dock to the cobblestone street, he grabbed his leather bag from the cargo from the ship. He went into the Inn and immediately ran up the steps and into the wide, dimly lit room.

Blu sat on the edge of his home's rooftop, looking down onto the streets from three stories up. Many people looked up and saw him, but worried not. They knew he wouldn't jump, and if he did, he'd live. The Felines are the most agile race in the City, and do not fear high falls. They always seem to land on their feet.

Suddenly, Blu's twin brother sat down on the edge next to him. His orange fur had a a sort of shine in the sun, glowing compared to Blu's. His clothes somewhat resembled those of the Avians, except not as posh. A plain brown petticoat and trousers down to his ankles. His shoes were the same ruddy mud colour, and his socks shone white against the darker clothing.

Something that the Avians did not wear that he did have, however, was the cape he wore bearing the tribe's crest. It's drawstring was tied around his neck, and a separate set of straps secured the cape around his chest. The flowing piece of cloth strapped itself around his right arm.

His hair, an unnatural green colour, was slicked back. His eyes had a lackluster that signified that he was bored.

"You know," Clement started.

"Save it." Blu barked, cutting him off.

They didn't like each other very much.

"At least I'm trying to appeal to you, Blusorn!"

"Then you can start by calling me Blu, Snake in the Grass."

"That's not my name, and you know it!"

"Love you too." Blu finished.

Blu jumped off the roof and grabbed onto a pole extending from a lamppost. He swung up and over it, flipping onto his feet on the ground. He waved up to his twin brother and disappeared into an alleyway. Clement scoffed and walked back to the stairway leading into the lower floors of the house.

"Have you seen Blusorn, Clement?" His mother asked him when he came into the Kitchen.

"Yes. He jumped." Clement replied sarcastically.
Long time no see, eh?
